Four Woodford athletes selected for World Championships

Four of our athletes have been selected for the World Championships in Budapest which begin on August 19th.

British Champions Cindy Sember and Daniel Rowden are selected for the 100mH and 800m respectively. Eugene Amo-Dadzie who placed 3rd in those Championships and has improved his p.b. to 9.93 secs this season is selected for the 100m and 4x100m. Yemi Mary John the reigning World U/20 champion who was also 3rd in those British Championships and has since won the European U/23 title is selected in both the women's and mixed 4x400 relay sqauds.
