Anyone who took part in to 2021 race will have seen the announcement that after 33 years of organising the race, and with falling numbers making it unviable, I have sadly decided to step away from organising the race.

I had hoped that someone else from the club would take this on, but at present we have had no volunteers so at the moment and unless that changes we will not be scheduling another race.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has taken part over the years, especially those who have done it most years.  If the race is organised again, we will advertise it within the athletics and running press and also notify anyone on our database.
