European Masters Indoor Championships

There was a European Masters Indoor gold medal for Ayamba Akim as she added the Indoor title to the World Outdoor title won last summer. Ayamba won the W40 high jump title with a leap of 1.64m in Ancona Italy. Also competing was Keith Newton who placed 4th in the M45 triple jump final with 12.69m, and Bernadine Pritchett was also 4th, over 800m in the W45 group with 2m27.31secs. Bernadine also placed 7th over 1500m with 4m52.54 secs, 8th in the 5Km cross country with 21mins 49 secs, and recorded 66.01 secs to place 7th in her 400m race.
