Amongst indoor performances this weekend there were three personal bests for Woodford athletes. Competing in the US at the New Mexico Invitational, Sam Watts improved his best ever, albeit altitude assisted, 60m mark by 0.01secs as he recorded 6.83 secs in his heat, then later 6.86 secs in the final. Canaan Solomon, who has made great progress over 800m this indoor season, raced in Bratislava for the England senior team over 1500m, where he finished 5th with a personal best of 3m56.35 secs, and at Lee Valley at the London Games another junior, Scott Webster, improved his high jump PB by 4cm with a clearance of 1.91cm.
