Track and Field News

Recent Track and Field results were headed by a national U/17 silver medal for Shayne Dewar. Shayne added the England Championship silver to his recent Southern title, where competing at Bedford he recorded another personal best over 200m with 21.74 secs (+1.4) for that silver medal. Scott Webster competed in the high jump in the same Championships and placed 8th with 1.86. 

Another competing for a title was Tom Beedell who in the final section of the Essec County Championships he won the 3000m s/ch in 9m36.2 secs. That was a significant improvement in track form for Tom and a mark that suggests he is not far from his best.
