Woodford athletes Tiffany Porter and Tosin Oke both made their finals at the World Championships in Beijing.

Tosin Oke by Ken Bray 1 Tiffany after winning her semi-final of the 100mH with 12.61 secs, stumbled towards the end of the final as she placed 5th with 12.68 secs.

Tiffany's sister Ciindy Ofili qualified from her heat with 12.97 secs, and then placed 6th in her semi-final with 12.91 secs.

Tosin Oke, representing Nigeria, qualified for the triple jump final as the 12th best of the 12 athletes making the final, but there he made the final cut of eight with 16.81m (+0.4), but did not improve on that in the final three rounds as he finished 8th overall.
