English Schools Championships

Woodford performances at the English Schools Championships at Gateshead were led by Canaan Soloman, who picked up a silver medal in the U/17 800m, recording 1m54.40 secs. Shayne Dewar was 4th in the U/17 200m with 22.23 secs (-0.7), having qualified from his semi in his fastest ever, but windy 21.87 secs w (+2.5). Nikko Hunt was also 4th, in the U/17 Pole Vault with 4.60m, and in the Girls U/17 hammer Stephanie Howe was 6th in a season's best of 53.84m.
