WGEL MEMBERSHIP FEE RENEWAL FOR 2026/2027
Annual Membership fees were due on the 1st April 2026.
Thank you to those members who have paid their annual subscriptions to renew their Club membership for 2026/27.
For those who have yet to renew their membership, please do so as soon as possible as the period of grace allowed for registration with England Athletics will be ending shortly.
Please note that registration for competition with England Athletics will be made only when membership subscriptions are paid to the Club. The new registration year for competition started on the 1st April 2026.
Club Membership Fees are as follows:
Active Seniors (21 and over): £83.00 per annum.
Active Young Members (under 21), Students, Unemployed and State Pensioners: £63.00 per annum.
2nd Claim £40.00 per annum.
Non-Active £38.00 per annum.
Registration fees to England Athletics, included in the Club membership fees, have increased from £20 to £23. There has also been an increase in membership fees retained by the Club this year, for the first time in over six years. This increase was agreed at the 2025 Club AGM.
By concession, those who joined the Club from 1st January 2026 onwards have nothing further to pay this year. The only exception is those who had previously been registered with EA but had lapsed their EA registration in 2025/26. These members need to pay an additional subscription of £23 where the Club is paying the EA registration fee for both 2025/26 and 2026/27.
Club Life Members need only pay the registration fee of £23 if they wish to be registered for competition.
