Celebration At WGEL

Today at the home of WGEL, on a bright, but cool Saturday morning at the Under 11's training session a double landmark was reached. Godwinner (pictured in the centre with black hat) has now surpassed his 50 hours of coaching which, considering he only started this around about October/November last year, is some feat. His commitment to helping the under 11s is fantastic, turning up virtually every Wednesday night and Saturday morning to help, and he has to travel to the track by public transport. A very worthy recipient of his own personalised mug and sports gift voucher as a THANK YOU from the club for all his efforts. The second landmark reached today was the Young Athlete Helpers who have now surpassed 700 HOURS of coaching, which is truly amazing and a credit to them for giving up their free time to help and inspire those under 11s.
