Funeral of Vida Pritchett

Vida Pritchett’s funeral will be held on Wednesday 23 February. The service and burial will be from 12.45pm at:

Forest Park Cemetery, Forest Road, Hainault, Essex, IG6 3HP. Tel: 020 8501 2236

Afterwards there will be a reception in the clubhouse with a hot food buffet. The family are keen for people associated with the club who knew her to come and celebrate her life.

Vida

As the wife of long-term member Reg Pritchett and mother of Life Member Bernadine Pritchett, Vida was involved in the club in a number of very useful capacities over the years. A registered nurse, she became the club's first Welfare Officer when that role was created. She also helped serve refreshments at our home fixtures, summer and winter, for many years.

Her contributions led to her being made an Honorary Vice-President, an honour bestowed on very few.

She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Reg, as well as her children Bernadine, Viola and Michael.
