Club Steeplechase Record for Phil Norman

Phil Norman, who has been in fine form in recent weeks, raced in Huelva, Spain last night, and in improving his 3000m s/ch personal best by more than 7 secs he improved on Adam Kirk-Smith's Woodford “domestic “ Club record set last season. Although just missing out on the UKA European Champs qualifying mark of 8m32 secs Phil recorded a fine 8m35.47 secs, which moves him to 3rd on this year's UK rankings.
