Kai Boggon selected for GB U20 Duathon
It's been some weekend for 15-year old Kai Boggon, who has been a key part of this winter's U15 success story.
On Saturday he finished 13th in the Inter-Counties U15 race, a tremendous achievement in itself.
But on Sunday he competed in a major duathlon in Bedford. First, he ran 5K in 16 mins 21 secs. Next came a 20 Kms cycle in 29 mins 21 secs. And he rounded it off with a 3K run in 9 mins 35 secs. This positioned him 5th in the U20 age group.
As a result, he has been selected to represent Great Britain U20s in the World Duathlon Champs in Denmark later this year - aged just 15!
