Internationals Dan Awde, Tiffany Porter and Shana Cox were all in action in the US over the weekend, and there was also a significant heptathlon personal best from Holly Pattie-Belleli.

Dan Awde raced again at Gainsville, Florida, where his win in 46.04 secs, moved him at this early stage to 2nd on the UK rankings. Also in action at Gainsville was Shana Cox who was 2nd over 400m in a season's best of 52.50 secs. Tiffany Porter was in action at the Drake Relays at Des Moines IA, but wasn't able to repeat her world leading form from the previous weekend, placing 7th on this occasion with 12.90 secs (+1.5). Holie Pattie-Belleli competed in the heptathlon at the same meeting, improving her personal best by over 500 points with a score of 4985 points, and also setting p.b's over 200m with 25.20 secs (+1.4), 800m with 2m18.34 secs, and high jump with 1.66m. Holly's other marks were, 100mH 13.91 secs w (+3.9), LJ 5.55m (-1.9), SP 8.54m and JT 21.86m
