Quiz attracts brainboxes

On 22nd November Club Secretary David Hollingworth put on one of his popular General Knowledge Quizzes in the clubhouse at Ashton.

It was an enjoyable social occasion with 15 teams testing their knowledge (and ignorance) and helping raise valuable funds for the club.

Winners were Jenny Thomas's Team who, after a nail-biting contest, triumphed over Cowsi Magol's Team at the tie-break stage, which involved a question about the Brazilian flag.
