Joining the club

Athletes of all standards are invited to join this all-inclusive club.

We compete at the highest level of club competition, so welcome athletes wishing high quality competition.

We are happy to receieve athletes from 11 years upwards to attend our various training sessions at Ashton Playing Fields and to enjoy the facilities of our clubhouse.

You are not required to sign up immediately, but may try the club before deciding to join. It is obviously necessary to join before being able to compete for the club, but there are open graded meetings throughout the year where non-members can take part in events suited to their standard.

It is suggested that you come down to the club on a Tuesday evening between 6pm and 8pm and introduce yourself to one of the officials.

For seniors ask for Terry McCarthy (distance running) or Gladys Bird (explosive events)

For young athletes contact John Stow (Tel: 07724070052, email This email address is being protected from spambots.
